Nalas Aappakadai is a brand of restaurants that serve high quality multi-cuisine food in India, UAE, France and the United Kingdom. Launched by Annamalai Foods Private Limited, Nalas Aappakadai came into existence in 2007, with the opening of its first restaurant in Velachery Chennai. Encouraged by the great response and with the tireless efforts of our chefs to enhance food quality we have expanded to 13 outlets in Chennai and Coimbatore, in India and 4 abroad - in Abu Dhabi, London and Paris. Over 115,000 guests visit us every month across these outlets. As the name suggests, the South Indian delicacy, “Aappam”, is served here in its most authentic avatar. In addition, Nalas serves the best of Chettinad, Kerala, Andhra, Tandoor and Chinese cuisines in their restaurants, for our Guests to enjoy. Nalas restaurants are managed by a highly trained team led by a professional Guest Manager. The dining and kitchen areas are maintained at the highest level of cleanliness. Even the air circulation is controlled with high-end equipment to eliminate odours and maximize guest comfort while dining.

Nalas’ first outlet at Velachery commence on 12th April 2007. At the very outset we made a mark in customers‘ minds with the quality and consistency of the food we served, brining in patronage from a lot of customers. Within three months, “Nalas Aappa Kadai” was a famous food destination in Velachery. In 2008 and 2009, Nalas opened one outlet each year in Chromepet and OMR respectively.
